In part two ot the book a connection is made with modern science, in particular with quantum physics. Now we can understand our own immortal minds as an integral part of the cosmic ‘Supermind’ which is the ground pattern underlaying all manifestations in the physical, material world. That deeper and in essence spiritual dimension Laszlo and Peake call ‘the Akasha’.

It is the fifth element, the ether, that ‘thinks the worlds’.
For me this is a wonderful way of analyzing our world. We now have the Akasha, which is an almost unspeakable universe of consciosness, also known as the Creator at the one hand and at the other its Memory of all that happens in all worlds and times, also known as the Akashic Records.

‘Immortal mind’ answers the question what the meaning of the word ‘Akasha’ is when we speak about the ‘Akashic Records’. It confirms what practitioners already know based on their own experiences: it is something Really Big. The authors name it “the unitary Logos of the cosmos”.
